Grapes were fulled destemmed to open top fermenter and cold soaked for 3 days prior to yeast inoculation. On completion of primary fermentation wine was air bag pressed to French barriques (20% new) and aged in barrel for 10 months.

Rich crimson hue and fleshy palate, rich fruit characters and subtle spices

Mill Block Pinot Noir

Style: Pinot Noir
ABV: 12.0%

Crafted from fruit grown on our oldest vines, planted on the site of an old sawmill between 1993 & 1996. It is an outstanding example of the subtle complexity our ultra-cool site produces with delicate fruit characters, earthiness and a refined spiciness.
